Overview

Our Captive Portal SaaS solution transforms the way users access public WiFi networks by providing a secure and user-friendly login experience. By developing client, server, and admin apps that network seamlessly with one another, we have created a system that streamlines the authentication process, making it easier for businesses to manage their networks and for users to get connected. This innovative project recently won the prestigious "Hackathon MVP" award.

Role:

As the sole developer of this project, I was responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of all the client, server, and admin applications.

Stack:
  • C#
  • PHP
  • Chromium SDK
  • Visual Studio

Problem

Users often face challenges when connecting to public WiFi networks, such as encountering confusing login screens, dealing with slow connections, or struggling to find reliable support. This can lead to a frustrating, time-consuming experience for both users and businesses. Due to complex requirements, most businesses do not generally opt to use a captive portal.

Solution

Our Captive Portal SaaS simplifies the login process for users by providing a clean and efficient login screen funnel, while also allowing businesses to manage their networks with ease through the use of our client, server, and admin applications. As a result, users can enjoy a seamless and secure WiFi experience, and businesses can focus on providing better services for their customers. Due to the interfacing with Smartlaunch, users could consume prepaid time while logged in.
